Kiddie Popcorn Crunch recipe

1 cup confectioners sugar
3 tablespoons water
1 tablespoon butter
Dash of salt
2-3 drops food coloring
8 to 10 cups popped corn

Cook confectioners sugar, water, butter, salt and food coloring to soft ball stage (225 degrees F) on candy thermometer (234 degrees F at sea level). Pour over one batch of popcorn (about 8-10 cups), mixing quickly and well.
