Sweet Popcorn Recipes

Mother Goose Popcorn

1 cup confectioners' sugar
3 tablespoons water
1 tablespoon butter
Dash of salt
2-3 drops food coloring

Mix ingredients to soft ball stage (225 degrees F) on candy thermometer (234 degrees F at sea level). Pour over one batch of popcorn (about 8-10 cups); mix quickly and well.

If you overcook, it will have a more gritty sugar texture.
