This ham is served in many of the Amana restaurants as a side. This is a good appetizer to have around, and it keeps well in the fridge.
4 cups cubed cooked ham
1 large onion, chopped
2 cups water
1 cup vinegar
Combine all ingredients and place in quart jars.
Let stand for several days before eating.
