Parmesan-Garlic Brussels Sprouts
Roasted Brussels sprouts are coated with a creamy sauce.
Yield: 6 servings
Ingredients
Brussels Sprouts
- 1 1/2 pounds Brussels sprouts, halved
- 3 cloves garlic, minced, or 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
Sauce
- 1 1/4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature, cubed small
- 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
Brussels Sprouts
- Toss the Brussels sprouts and garlic in olive oil and roast in a 425 degrees F oven for about 20 to 25 minutes. Set aside.
Sauce
- In a medium size skillet, add the broth, Italian seasoning, cream cheese and Parmesan cheese and whisk together until smooth.
- Add the Brussels sprouts and cook gently until heated through.
