Homemade Boursin Spread

Posted by bettyboop50 at recipegoldmine.com May 9, 2001

This is one of my favorite and most requested spreads. It is very flavorful and delicious. You can use it as a seasoning when cooking vegetables or place a heaping teaspoon on top of tomato half. The possibilities are endless with a bit of imagination.

8 ounces butter
1 pound cream cheese
1 tablespoon oregano
1 tablespoon dill
1 tablespoon freshly ground pepper
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon marjoram

Thoroughly cream butter and cream cheese in electric mixer. Add spices and mix well.

Place in small bowl, cover with plastic wrap, allow spices to blend overnight in refrigerator before using. Serve with crackers.
