Dessert Nachos

These delightful dessert nachos with chocolate sauce and fresh strawberries are perfect.

Yield: 2 servings

Ingredients

  • 3 Rhodes Thaw, Rise and Bake Dinner Rolls, dough thawed
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 6 or 7 large strawberries, diced
  • Chocolate syrup
  • Whipped cream

Instructions

  1. Pour oil 1 to 2 inches deep into a sauce pan and heat to medium high setting or 350 degrees F.
  2. Flatten each roll into a 4 inch circle, then cut into four triangles.
  3. Fry dough on each side until golden brown (about 40 to 50 seconds each side). Remove and drain on paper towel.
  4. In a plastic bag combine sugar and cinnamon, add fried dough and coat.
  5. Serve by sprinkling strawberries, drizzling chocolate sauce and then topping with a dollop of whipped cream.
