Hazelnut Crescents
2 cups all-purpose flour
Pinch of baking powder
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 egg yolks
7 ounces butter
1 1/4 cups ground hazelnuts
Sift dry ingredients onto table. Make well in center and add vanilla extract,
egg yolks, butter and nuts; work flour mixture with hands. Refrigerate for 1
hour.
Form into 1-inch pieces and shape into crescents, tapering ends. Bake at
350 degrees F for 10 minutes.
Roll in confectioners' sugar.
