1/2 cup finely chopped onions
1 teaspoon garam masala
1 teaspoon red chili powder
1 teaspoon cumin powder
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1/2 cup freshly ground coconut
or unsweetened dry coconut
Water as needed
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend into fine paste. Add water if needed.
