Peanut Milk Candy (Pastillas de Mani)
Makes 20.
1 cup freshly ground unsalted peanuts
1 cup milk
3/4 cup granulated sugar
Combine all ingredients and simmer over low heat, stirring constantly, until
a sold mass is formed. Transfer to a sugared board and spread the mixture with
a rolling pin into a rectangular shape 1/2 inch high. Cut into 1/2 x 2-inch-long
pieces. Wrap individually in tissue paper if desired.
