Biscuits and Sausage Gravy

Be sure to add points for each biscuit.

1 pound pork sausage
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
4 cups fat-free skim milk
Salt and pepper to taste

In a large skillet over medium heat, cook sausage. Break it up as it browns. When completely browned and no longer pink, drain off all but 2 tablespoons of the fat. Add flour and stir well. Let flour mixture cook for 2 minutes, but do not burn. Slowly add milk, stirring frequently until it comes to a gentle boil. Let simmer until it thickens, about 10-15 minutes.

Serve over reduced fat biscuits. Each serving = 1/8th of gravy.

Servings: 8 - Points: 7
