Chicken and Turkey Recipes

Chicken and Dumplings

1 (3 pound) cut up chicken, skinned
1 can cream of chicken and mushroom soup
1 can skim milk
1/2 can water
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon pepper
8 ounces mushrooms
1/2 cup chopped onions
Pam
1 can Weight Watchers biscuits or plain

Spray 9 x 13-inch pan with Pam.

Place chicken, add salt, pepper and garlic powder. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.

In large bowl mix soup, milk, water, mushrooms and onions. Pour over chicken and bake covered 15 minutes. Uncover, top with 1 can Weight Watchers or plain biscuits. Bake uncovered until biscuits are brown, about 10 to 15 minutes.

Makes 6 servings.
