Hot Buttered Rum

Hot Buttered Rum is another of those comforting cold weather holiday delights, and it's particularly loved during the Christmas season.

Ingredients

Batter

• 1/2 pound butter
• 1 3/4 cups brown sugar, firmly packed
• 1 3/4 cups confectioners'sugar
• 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
• 1 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1 pint vanilla ice cream

Hot Buttered Rum

• 1 teaspoon Batter
• 1 jigger rum
• 4 to 6 ounces very hot water

Instructions

Batter

1. Blend thoroughly.
2. Keep in freezer.

Hot Buttered Rum

1. Stir batter and rum into hot water.
