Dried Tomato Beer Bread

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces dried tomatoes, softened and chopped
  • 1/4 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 12 ounces beer, room temperature
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 1/2 cups self-rising flour

Instructions

  1. Heat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Mix sugar with flour.
  3. Add beer, egg and tomato sauce and mix all together quickly.
  4. Fold in the tomatoes.
  5. Spoon batter into a greased loaf pan and bake 50 to 60 minutes.
