Herb and Spice Butters
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 teaspoon dill weed or 3/4 teaspoon fresh dill
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped chives
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon basil leaves or 1 1/2 teaspoons fresh basil
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder or 2 cloves garlic, boiled, drained and mashed
- To softened butter add 1 of the above ingredients.
- Mix well and refrigerate.
- Serve on appropriate breads.
