Apple Bundt Cake
Ingredients
Cake
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups vegetable oil
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 3 large apples, peeled cored and chopped
Sauce
- 1 stick (1/2 cup) butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons buttermilk or heavy cream
Instructions
- Heat oven to 325 degrees F.
Cake
- Mix eggs, sugar, oil and vanilla extract. Beat until thick and fluffy.
- Add flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon.
- Mix well, add chopped apples and stir in with a spoon.
- Bake for approximately 1 hour. Test for doneness, adjusting baking time as needed.
- Pour Sauce over cake while cake is still warm.
Sauce
- Heat over low until hot and bubbly.
- Pour over hot cake while still warm.
