Praline Topping
Yield: topping for a 9 inch square or 13 x 9 inch cake
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons Swans Down cake flour
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
Instructions
- Mix together all ingredients.
- Spread carefully, a small amount at a time over hot cake in pan.
- Place in moderate oven (375 degrees F) and bake for 5 minutes.
- Let cool, and cut cake in pan.
