Cherry Pecan Fudge

Ingredients

  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 small box cherry gelatin
  • 12 ounces semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup ground pecans
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract

Instructions

  1. In top of double boiler, over boiling water, combine milk and gelatin. Stir until gelatin is dissolved.
  2. Add chips; stir until melted.
  3. Remove from heat; stir in pecans and almond extract.
  4. Spread evenly into a wax paper-lined 13 x 9 inch dish.
  5. Chill for 2 hours or until firm.
  6. Turn fudge out onto cutting board. Peel off paper and cut into squares.
  7. Store tightly covered.
