Coconut Philly Fudge

Ingredients

  • 4 cups sifted confectioners' sugar
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
  • 4 (1 ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • Dash of salt
  • 1/4 cup crushed peppermint candy (to garnish)

Instructions

  1. Gradually add sugar to softened cream cheese, mixing until well blended.
  2. Stir in remaining ingredients.
  3. Spread into a greased 8 inch square pan.
  4. Garnish with coconut, if desired.
  5. Chill for several hours or overnight; cut into squares.
