Cream Cheese Fudge

Ingredients

  • 4 (1 ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 4 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 to 2 cups pecans or walnuts, or however many you prefer

Instructions

  1. Melt chocolate in microwave, then cool to room temperature.
  2. With cream cheese at room temperature, mix cream cheese with chocolate.
  3. Add confectioners' sugar and vanilla extract.
  4. Pat into an 8- or 9 inch pan.
  5. Refrigerate for a couple of hours before cutting.

Notes

If you want a peanut butter flavor, add 1/2 cup peanut butter and increase sugar to 5 cups.
