Pork Sausage-Cranberry Hors D'oeuvres

Ingredients

  • 1 pound pork sausage
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup fresh bread crumbs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 1 (16 ounce) can jellied cranberry sauce
  • 1 tablespoon mustard

Instructions

  1. Place sausage, eggs, crumbs, salt and poultry seasoning in large bowl; mix well.
  2. Shape into 24 meatballs.
  3. Place large skillet over medium heat; cook until brown on all sides.
  4. Drain on paper towels.
  5. Pour all fat from skillet; wipe skillet clean with paper towels.
  6. Melt cranberry sauce in same skillet over low heat, stirring occasionally.
  7. Stir in mustard, meatballs and 1/2 cup water.
  8. Cover; simmer for 20 minutes or until meatballs are tender.
