White Chocolate Blonde Brownies

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 4 squares Baker's premium white chocolate, chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9 inch square baking pan and line it with aluminum foil.
  2. Beat butter and sugar in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in eggs and vanilla extract.
  4. Mix in flour, baking powder and salt. Stir in white chocolate and nuts.
  5. Spread in prepared baking pan.
  6. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
  7. Cool in pan.
  8. Cut into squares.
