Marinated Beet Salad

An easy sweet/sour salad that starts with canned sliced beets and adds only vinegar and Equal for great flavor. It's best made 1 day ahead of time and will keep in the refrigerator up to 3 days.

Marinated Beet Salad

Yield: 8 servings

Ingredients

  • 2 (15 ounce) cans small, whole or sliced beets
  • 1/2 cup white vinegar
  • 3/4 to 1 cup Equal Spoonful*

Instructions

  1. Combine beets, beet juice, vinegar and Equal in medium bowl; cover tightly.
  2. Chill for at least 8 hours before serving.
  3. Drain before serving.

Notes

* May substitute 18 to 24 packets Equal sweetener.
