Broiled Sea Scallops

Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup dry vermouth
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 small clove garlic, crushed
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • 1 pound scallops
  • Buttered bread crumbs

Instructions

  1. Mix first 4 ingredients in a bowl. Add scallops.
  2. Marinate for 1 hour in refrigerator.
  3. Spoon scallops and marinade into ramekins (individual dishes used for both baking and serving).
  4. Place under broiler and broil for 3 minutes.
  5. Turn and sprinkle with bread crumbs. Broil for 3 minutes more.
