Aluminum Lawn Furniture
Coat the aluminum with automotive paste wax at the beginning of each season. The aluminum will not pit or scar, and it will look new longer.

Ants
To prevent ants from coming up onto a picnic table, fill tin cans with water and set the legs of the table in them, or spray insect repellant on old strips of cloth and wrap around the table legs.

Mix orange peels and water in a blender. Plop this pur e in the midst of the ant activity. Ants cannot handle the smell of citric acid.

Mosquito Repellent

Put some water in a white dinner plate and add just a couple of drops of Lemon Fresh Joy dishwashing soap. Set the dish on a porch or patio. No sure what attracts them, the lemon smell, the white color, or what, but mosquitoes flock to it, and drop dead, or fall into the water, or on the floor within about 10 feet. Works just super!
