    substitute: 1 tablespoon instant minced onion OR 1 teaspoon onion powder

Parsley, fresh
    substitute: 1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes

Red Pepper, sweet, chopped
    substitute: 2 tablespoons chopped pimento

Shallots, chopped
    substitute: 2 tablespoons chopped onion plus 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
