Roast Goose with Apple Dressing


  • 1 goose
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon browned flour
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 6 apples apples
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar


  1. Rub goose with salt, pepper, butter and flour.
  2. Cook the apples, then mash, adding sugar. Stuff the goose. Bake, allowing 20 minutes per pound.
