Turkey Sausage Patties
Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground turkey
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 teaspoons freshly-ground pepper
- 2 teaspoons chopped fresh sage or
- 1/2 teaspoon dried sage
- 2 teaspoons chopped fresh thyme or 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg, allspice or mace
- Olive oil (for frying)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the turkey, salt, pepper, sage, thyme, ginger and the nutmeg, allspice or mace. Mix together well. Scoop out a small nugget of the mixture. Form into a patty.
- In a large frying pan over high heat, warm a thin film of olive oil.
- Fry the patties, turning once, until golden and cooked through, about 4 minutes on each side.
