Buttermilk Dressing Mix
- 15 saltine crackers
- 2 cups dry parsley
- 1/2 cup dry minced onion
- 2 tablespoons dill weed
- 1/4 cup onion salt
- 1/4 cup garlic salt
- 1/4 cup onion powder
- 1/4 cup garlic powder
- Put crackers through blender on high speed until powdered.
- Add parsley, minced onion and dill weed - blend again until powdered.
- Add onion salt, garlic salt, onion powder and garlic powder.
- Put into a container with a tight fitting lid.
You can store this dry mixture at room temperature for up to 1 year.
Hidden Valley Ranch Buttermilk Dressing
To mix dressing, combine 1 tablespoon dry mix with 1 cup mayonnaise and 1 cup buttermilk. Whisk until
smooth, chill to thicken.
Great on salad or as a dipping sauce for fresh vegetables and hot wings.
