Cheddar Cheese Popcorn


  • 2/3 cup unpopped popcorn
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • Pepper
  • 1 cup finely grated Cheddar, brick or Colby cheese (use more if desired)
  • Salt to taste


  1. Pop the popcorn.
  2. Melt the butter.
  3. Grind some pepper into the butter. Stir.
  4. Layer the cheese into the popcorn.
  5. Pour the butter mixture on top, then salt.
