Toffee Popcorn

Ingredients

  • 4 quarts popped corn
  • 2 sticks (1 cup) butter
  • 1 cup white corn syrup
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 3/4 cup pecans or dry roasted nuts

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in saucepan. Add white corn syrup and water. Boil until the candy changes color (about 10 to 15 minutes).
  2. Add pecans or dry roasted nuts. Pour over popped corn and stir until completely covered.
  3. Spread out on a greased cookie sheet.
  4. Cool.
