Hamburger Vegetable Chowder

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons oil or shortening
- 1/2 pound ground beef
- 1 cup canned tomatoes
- 1/2 cup diced carrots
- 1/2 cup diced celery
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/4 cup uncooked rice
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 cup cubed potatoes
Instructions
- Heat cooker. Add oil and brown meat. Add tomatoes, carrots, celery, onion, salt, rice, pepper, water and potatoes. Close cover securely. Place pressure regulator on vent pipe and cook for 15 minutes with pressure rocking slowly.
- Let pressure drop of its own accord.
