One Pot Spaghetti

Recipe Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 clove garlic, mashed
  • 2 (8 ounce) cans tomato sauce
  • 2 cups dry red wine
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 pound spaghetti, uncooked
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  1. Heat pressure cooker and add oil.
  2. Lightly brown ground beef, onion and garlic, stirring occasionally to separate meat.
  3. Add all remaining ingredients except cheese.
  4. Toss uncooked pasta in liquid so it separates (if spaghetti is to long break strands in half before adding). Close cover securely.
  5. Place pressure regulator on vent pipe and cook 7 minutes for well-done spaghetti, 6 minutes for al dente.
  6. Cool cooker immediately.
  7. Stir cheese into mixture before serving.
