Baked Apples

Ingredients

  • 8 to 10 apples, cored, peeled and halved
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons butter, melted
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Place apples in greased 13 x 9 inch dish.
  3. Mix remaining ingredients together in ORDER given, in pan and bring to a boil. Simmer, stirring until thick.
  4. Pour syrup over apples, and bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until tender.
