Cajun Gravy
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1 tablespoon hot sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper, red and black
Instructions
- Melt butter; stir in flour until smooth.
- Add milk and beat until lumps are gone.
- Add seasonings.
- After gravy is completed, add sautéed mushrooms and onions, if desired. You can also add cooked pork chops or whatever else is desired. Simmer for about 10 minutes.
