Cajun and Creole Recipes
Easy Seafood Jambalaya
Ingredients
- 1 stick butter
- 1 large onion, diced
- 4 to 6 cloves garlic, diced
- 1 pound smoked andouille sausage
- 2 pounds shrimp, peeled and deveined, and/or crawfish tails and/or crab meat
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 1/2 cup green onions
- 2 to 3 cups cooked rice
Instructions
- Heat butter in a heavy pot. Sauté diced onions and garlic until wilted.
- Sauté sausage.
- Add shrimp, crab meat and/or crawfish and Cajun seasoning. Cook down for approximately 7 minutes.
- Add green onions and rice.
