Toast of the Coast Shrimp Ball

Ingredients

  • 6 1/2 ounces boiled shrimp
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon liquid smoke
  • 1/2 teaspoon horseradish (optional)
  • 1/8 teaspoon Cajun spice
  • Dash of hot sauce
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped green onions
  • Parsley
  • Chopped pecans or walnuts

Instructions

  1. Chop shrimp well or use a food processor.
  2. Mix all ingredients, except parsley and nuts.
  3. Place mixture in refrigerator for 2 hours or until stiff.
  4. Roll mixture into a ball.
  5. Mix parsley and nuts together and coat shrimp ball.
  6. Refrigerate.
