Irish O' Garlic Hot Tub

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day Wisconsin style with Johnsonville’s Irish O’ Garlic bratwurst. Grab a grill, Guinness Extra Stout beer, onions, butter and the guests!

Irish O' Garlic Hot Tub

  • 1 (11 x 9 x 2 3/8 inch) aluminum foil baking pan

Hot Tub

  • 2 (19 ounce) packages Johnsonville® Irish O’ Garlic Sausage
  • 2 (12 ounce) bottles Guinness Extra Stout beer
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 10 brat buns

Instructions

  1. Prepare sausage on a gas or charcoal grill according to package directions.
  2. Remove cooked brats from grill; place in foil baking pan.
  3. Place pan on grill; add the beer, onions and butter.
  4. Over medium heat, on a covered grill, simmer brats in beer and onions for about 10 minutes; heated through.
  5. Serve brat with onions on a bun.
