Eternal Coleslaw

Eternal Cole Slaw keeps forever in the refrigerator. This is a very old recipe.

Ingredients

• 1 head cabbage, shredded
• 1/2 cup vegetable oil
• 1/2 cup cider vinegar
• 1/4 cup granulated sugar
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

1. Mix oil, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper. Pour over cabbage; marinate for 12 hours.

Notes

You may add finely chopped onion, if desired.
