Yield: 80 large cookies

Ingredients

  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 cups vegetable oil
  • 1 pound butter
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 9 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Cream sugar, butter and oil until light and fluffy.
  2. Beat in eggs and vanilla extract.
  3. Sift dry ingredients together and blend in well.
  4. Scoop up spoonful, place in colored sugar and place sugared side up on cookie sheet. Press down with glass bottom.
  5. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes at 350 degrees F.
