Steak Tenderizer

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup dark vinegar
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons prepared mustard
  • 1 teaspoon coarse black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Durkee smoked salt
  • 1 large onion, cut into wedges

Instructions

  1. Combine ingredients; place steaks in it for 24 hours in refrigerator, covered.
  2. Drain well; broil or cook on grill.
