Pear Butter
Yield: about 1 1/2 pints
Ingredients
- 7 or 8 large Bartlett pears, peeled, cored, and cut into chunks
- 1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker and stir.
- Cook on HIGH until pears are very tender.
- Mash or beat with an electric mixer until the consistency of apple sauce. If the mixture is not thick enough, simply cook it a little longer to thicken.
