Hazelnut Crescents
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- Pinch of baking powder
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 egg yolks
- 7 ounces butter
- 1 1/4 cups ground hazelnuts
- Confectioners' sugar
Instructions
- Sift dry ingredients onto table. Make well in center and add vanilla extract, egg yolks, butter and nuts; work flour mixture with hands.
- Refrigerate for 1 hour.
- Form into 1 inch pieces and shape into crescents, tapering ends.
- Bake at 350 degrees F for 10 minutes.
- Roll in confectioners' sugar.
