Potato Chips recipe

Equipment

  • Air Fryer
  • Mandoline

Ingredients

  • 2 large potatoes
  • Olive oil cooking spray
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher or sea salt

Instructions

  1. Heat air fryer to 360 degrees F.
  2. Using a mandoline, cut potatoes into very thin slices. Transfer to a large bowl; add enough ice water to cover. Soak for 15 minutes; drain.
  3. Add more ice water and soak for another 15 minutes.
  4. Drain potatoes; place on towels and pat dry.
  5. Spritz potatoes with cooking spray, then sprinkle with salt.
  6. In batches, place potato slices in a single layer on tray in greased air fryer basket. Cook until crisp, 15 to 17 minutes, turning every 5 to 7 minutes.
