Lemon Cloverleaf Rolls

Lemon Cloverleaf Rolls recipe

Ingredients

Rolls

  • 18 Rhodes Yeast Dinner Rolls, dough thawed but still cold
  • Zest from 2 medium size lemons
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 5 tablespoons butter, melted

Icing

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

Instructions

Rolls

  1. Cut rolls in half.
  2. In a small bowl, combine lemon zest and sugar. Dip each roll half into butter and then into lemon sugar mixture.
  3. Place 3 halves in each cup of a well sprayed 12 cup muffin tin.
  4. Cover with plastic wrap and let rise until double in size.
  5. Remove wrap and bake at 350 degrees F for 10 to 15 minutes.
  6. Remove from pan immediately to cooling rack.

Icing

  1. Combine icing ingredients and mix well. Drizzle over rolls while still warm.
