Candy Bar Squares

Ingredients

• 1 cup butter
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
• 2 eggs
• 3 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 6 (1 3/4 ounce) chocolate covered candy bars, chopped and divided

Instructions

1. Beat butter and sugars in large bowl with electric mixer at medium speed until light and fluffy. Blend in eggs.
2. Mix in flour, baking soda and salt.
3. Reserve 1/2 cup chopped candy for topping; stir remaining candy into flour mixture. Spread into 13 x 9 inch baking pan; sprinkle with reserved 1/2 cup candy.
4. Bake at 350 degrees F for 25 to 30 minutes or until lightly browned.
5. Cool in pan on wire rack.
6. Cut into squares.
