Charleston Peach Leather
Ingredients
- 2 pounds dried apricots
- 1 pound dried peaches
- Fine sugar
Instructions
- Put fruit through a meat chopper twice, using the finest cutter.
- Sprinkle a board thickly with fine sugar. Put the fruit mixture on it and pat and roll it until it is 1/8 inch thick. Cut into 1 1/4 x 2 inch strips. Roll each strip into a tight roll.
- Store in a tightly closed box.
