Pork Chops and Noodles Casserole
Yield: 6 servings
Ingredients
- 6 boneless pork chops
- 1 to 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 can tomato soup
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup water
- 4 cups cooked noodles
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 cup bread crumbs
Instructions
- Brown pork chops in oil until golden brown. Season with salt and pepper.
- Mix well the onion, tomato soup, cream of mushroom soup and water. Mix with noodles. Arrange 1/2 of this mixture in the bottom of a greased 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Arrange pork chops over noodles. Cover with the remaining noodle mixture.
- Combine bread crumbs with butter, and sprinkle over the top of the casserole.
- Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour.
