Pork Chops and Noodles Casserole

Yield: 6 servings

Ingredients

  • 6 boneless pork chops
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup water
  • 4 cups cooked noodles
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 cup bread crumbs

Instructions

  1. Brown pork chops in oil until golden brown. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Mix well the onion, tomato soup, cream of mushroom soup and water. Mix with noodles. Arrange 1/2 of this mixture in the bottom of a greased 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Arrange pork chops over noodles. Cover with the remaining noodle mixture.
  3. Combine bread crumbs with butter, and sprinkle over the top of the casserole.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour.
