Peppermint Candy Ice Cream Pie

  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate wafer crumbs
  • 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 3 tablespoons peppermint candy, finely crushed
  • 1 pint peppermint ice cream
  • 8 ounces Cool Whip, partially thawed
  • Additional peppermint candy (for garnish)


  1. Combine crumbs and melted butter; press firmly into a 9-inch pie plate.
  2. Combine peppermint ice cream and whipped topping; spoon into crumb crust. Sprinkle with peppermint candy; freeze until firm.
  3. Garnish with peppermint candy, if desired.

Yield: one 9-inch pie
