Venezuelan Brownies

Ingredients

  • 10 tablespoons butter
  • 3 ounces unsweetened chocolate
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon confectioners' sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9 inch square baking pan.
  2. In a saucepan over low heat, melt the butter and chocolate.
  3. Meanwhile, in a mixing bowl, combine remaining ingredients.
  4. Remove pan from heat and pour contents into bowl; mix well.
  5. Pour mixture into the prepared baking pan and bake for 45 minutes.
