Peach Dessert

Ingredients

  • 4 cups butter or margarine
  • 8 cups all-purpose flour
  • 8 cups granulated sugar
  • 16 teaspoons baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 6 cups milk
  • 2 gallons canned peaches

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Mix all ingredients except peaches.
  3. Pour into bottom of 2 LARGE pans.
  4. Pour 1 gallon of peaches per pan, juice and all, on top.
  5. Bake for 45 to 60 minutes.
  6. Serve chilled, topped with whipping cream, or serve warm with ice cream if desired.
